<\/p>\nPT Wana Bakti Persada Utama (WBPU) carried out survey activities in the 2025 Annual Work Plan (RKT) area, on Sunday (19\/05). The activities carried out in an area of 1.142 Hectares aim to collect data and information to prepare annual operational plans for forest management. The RKT is a document that details the activities that will be carried out by the company in a certain year, in accordance with the regulations and guidelines set by the forestry authority, in this case the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK).<\/p>\n

Several aspects are usually covered in RKT survey activities in production forest companies such as PT WBPU, namely, the first is a 100% forest inventory which aims to collect data on tree types, wood volume, forest conditions and other natural resource potential in the company's concession area. . Then prepare a logging plan which will determine the area and method of logging that will be carried out in the current year. This includes mapping felling blocks and calculating the volume of wood to be produced.<\/p>\n
Apart from that, in the RKT survey there is also a Sustainable Forest Management Plan (PHL) which aims to outline steps to ensure forest management is carried out in a sustainable manner, including replanting, biodiversity conservation and protection of protected areas. Furthermore, there is also a plan for environmental management to identify and mitigate environmental impacts from operational activities, including waste management, soil and water protection, and handling carbon emissions.<\/p>\n

The ecological and environmental conditions of the forest are also an important focus in this survey. The findings indicate the health status of the ecosystem, including the level of biodiversity present. Areas that are vulnerable to damage or require special protection are identified to prevent further environmental degradation. In addition, the survey provides information about the quality of soil and water in the concession area, which is important for maintaining the balance of the forest ecosystem.<\/p>\n
The social and economic aspects of forest activities were also revealed in this survey. Information on settlements and economic activities of local communities provides an overview of the potential impacts of forest activities on local communities. Potential conflicts or partnerships with local communities are identified, as well as community needs and aspirations regarding forest management. These findings help companies plan corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs that are more targeted and beneficial to the surrounding community.<\/p>\n

All these findings are used to develop a comprehensive RKT and ensure sustainable and responsible forest management.<\/p>\n

After that, PT WBPU will carry out monitoring and evaluation to establish a system to monitor the implementation of the RKT and evaluate its success, including regular reporting to the relevant authorities.
